In 2015, Columns & Coffee is partnering with Historic Denver and Colorado Preservation, Inc. to explore the challenges and successes surrounding the reuse of classically-influenced buildings in Colorado.  Most of these buildings have been “Endangered Places” from time to time during their histories and have been saved through the diligent preservation efforts of both organizations.  This month, Colorado Preservation, Inc. will highlight the Sullivan Gateway, which was officially listed as one of their Most Endangered Places in 2012.  While the site is currently in deteriorated condition the City of Denver is building a plan to restore this site.
