Join Rush Jenkins and Klaus Baer, principals of the Jackson Hole-based interior design firm WRJ Design, as they share an in-depth look into how they create award-winning homes. Rush and Klaus will reveal their process of working closely with architects, builders and craftspeople to turn a vision of a house into reality. They will share stunning imagery of their work and a glimpse into their best-selling book, Natural Elegance: Luxurious Mountain Living.

Rush Jenkins, CEO & Co-Founder of WRJ, has worked in the design industry for over 25 years, but his design aesthetic was formed much earlier. Growing up in Idaho, Rush’s palette was informed by the colors of the nearby mountains and the acres of his family’s farmland. When he set his aesthetic sights across the Atlantic, Rush’s design expertise developed further, through his studies at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London. Rush’s association with Sotheby’s continued when he became their Director of Design New York, and he had the privilege of designing exhibitions for the collections of American luminaries. Pursuing his dual passions for interior design and the American West, Rush relocated to Jackson Hole, Wyoming with his partner, Klaus Baer, where they re-established the headquarters for their design firm, WRJ Design. Rush leads a team of talented designers with combined expertise in design conceptualization, planning and execution, and creative supervision.

Today, Rush’s knowledge of interiors, art, architecture and landscape architecture is applied to designing beautiful retreats, where people find comfort in harmonious surroundings.

Klaus Baer, COO & Co-Founder of WRJ, has channeled his decades-plus experience with managing international production teams for investment banking firms into overseeing all operational and technological aspects of WRJ. Klaus believes that well-run internal operations translate into seamless experiences for everyone, and at WRJ, he’s developed the systems on which the company stands, those that support the design team in achieving their goals: homes that are peaceful, calm and harmonious.

After earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Klaus segued from banking to design by earning an interior design graduate degree from Parsons School of Design in New York City. Klaus also donates his time and talent to various non-profit organizations in Jackson Hole.
